Help IslamDunk with your generous contribution.

The haters are growing in numbers, Islam is being attacked every day by people working full time (as Shamoun claims). We as Muslims need to work even harder to let people know the truth of Islam. Teeth Breaking Responses To Those Who Want To Extinguish The Light Of Allah

TTT is our brother/sister site that deals with writing articles responding to the most common attacks on Islam. The articles are unarguable and most scholastic (in the English language) following a unique traditional style, giving explanations of scholars, expositions of commentaries and most important of all in a simple short and clear way that everyone can understand.

Help Us Spread The Message

In order to reach as many people as possible IslamDunk needs your help. Almost everyone has a facebook account, an email list or other social connections on the web. All you need to do is use one of our logos or post a link or post our articles and videos, favor them, rate them and keep doing that over and over. This work that we are doing needs to reach every corner of the Earth so that everyone will know the truth of Islam

Shamoun's Lowly Character

Sam thinks he can beat everyone in a debate and that he has already done so. Things have not even happened yet he can predict with certainty outcomes. He thinks no one can answer him. Check out a list of answers right here.

Is "Ahmad" in Surah As-Saff Prophet Muhammad?

Yes, of course!

Yes, of course Ahmad refers to Muhammad. Ahmad is “the second name of Prophet Muhammad and it (Ahmad) literally means “one who praises Allah more than others” [Hilali-Khan, Interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Quran, Darussalam, 1999, pg 728]

A Christian missionary TV show has been speaking on a Verse of the Quran (Surah 61:6) and the suggestion Ahmad is not Muhammad has been made. Quite why Christian missionaries speak upon topics they have little/no understanding is beyond us and just further discredits their operations and repute. Here is the Verse:

And (remember) when 'Īsā (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: "O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allâh unto you confirming the Taurât [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed. But when he (Ahmed i.e. Muhammad SAW) came to them with clear proofs, they said: "This is plain magic." [Dr Mohsin translation Surah 61:6, from Quran explorer]

The verse mentions ٱسۡمُهُ ۥۤ أَحۡمَد (his name is Ahmad). So the Verse is using the name “Ahmad” not “Muhammad”. Ahmad is the superlative form of Muhammad and furthermore the holy Prophet, as narrated in an authentic Hadith, had five names; one of which was “Ahmad”:

Narrated Jubair bin Mut’im: Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “I have five names: I am Muhammad and Ahmad; I am al Mahi through whom Allah will eliminate Al Kufr (infidelity); I am Al Hashir who will be the first to be resurrected, the people resurrected thereafter; and I am also Al Aqib (ie there will be no Prophet after me) [Sahih al Bukhari, 4/3532 (O.P 732)]

Don't be fooled

I will tell you this Hadith is presented in the Hilali-Khan translation of the Quran as a footnote to S61:6, thus it is not difficult for the Christian missionaries to research it for themselves rather than wasting our time and confusing Muslims and Non-Muslims with their misguided conjecture. May Allah guide them. Ameen.

PS: Somebody on the show was also claiming Jesus “sends” Ahmad. This is incorrect. The Verse (in this regard) teaches Jesus is simply informing people of the good news that ANOTHER Messenger is to come. Allah (God) is the One who sends Prophets!

May Allah send His peace and blessings on all his Messengers. Ameen.

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Teach! Make things easy! And do not make things complicated! He repeated this three times and then he added: And if you get angry, keep quiet!” [Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, Al-Matalib Al-Aliyah; Ahmad Ibn Hanbal]
good job. - Fatima

it's sad how people are inventing lies against Allah each day, no one reads the Quran instead they look at other books for answers. Quran is the guidence and full of mercy. The only women Allah mentions by name is mariam. But the hadith mentions so many womens name who we don't even know who they are, and theres no proof of backing them.
