Shaikh Essam Tawfik is an instructor with the Sharia Academy of the American Open University. He has studied with many distinct Ulama of our time, and has been an active instructor with the Sharia Academy under Shaikh Salah Sawy. He is an uthorized Imam from the Ministry of endowment in Egypt, lecturing the syllabuses of Legacies, Family Jurisprudence, Qur’an Exegesis, Hadeeth, Doctrine, and Morals. He has traveled and lectured throughout the world, and has been an active member of the Muslim community in the United States during the past decade. He has an authorized recitation (under Sh. Sayed Gebriel) of the Qur’an in accordance with the Hafs mode of recitation.
